The Alaikapela choir is made up of about thirty people who sing “a cappella” songs that take us back to slavery in the United States and to spiritual melodies. Different from the more traditional choirs, they prepare their music with some choreography and offer concerts that inspire a positive atmosphere. They sing songs like “O Happy Day” and “Freedom” in English, the original language, and when appropriate some other genres for special occasions. They have been singing together since 2006 and are registered with the Navarra´s Choir Federation. You can find them on the web at alaikapela.com for more information.
